Derry, NH: Karl Hagerup Jensen age 57 died January 15, 2013 at the Beverly Hospital in Beverly, MA, following a year and a half battle with a rare combination of fronto-temporal lobe dementia, primary progressive aphasia and bulbar amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Born in Waltham MA and raised in Boxboro MA he was the son of the late Harold C. and Marion J. (Hagerup) Jensen. Throughout his career Karl worked in the semi-conductor industry as a prototype assembly technician, most recently at NEXXSystems in Billerica MA. A man of many interests, his avocations were Mustang collecting and restoration, stained glass creation and biking on Rails to Trails throughout New Hampshire.
He is survived by his sister Karen L. Wakefield of Nahant as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private services are being planned for the early summer.
