LEICESTER: Annette M. (Sourdif) Goodwin, 80, of Cherry Valley, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at home on Feb 16, 2013. She was a sweetheart and will be missed by all who knew her.
Annette is survived by her son, Raymond "Chuck" Goodwin, her daughter Sandra Goodwin with whom she lived, and her precious grandson Trevor Goodwin, all of Cherry Valley; her brother Leo Sourdif and his wife Joyce; her sisters Juliette Woods and Lillian Gagne, all of Spencer; several nieces and nephews; many friends, including Brenda Glenny; and her cherished dogs, Maya and Buddy. She will rest eternally with her beloved bichon, Snowball. She was predeceased by her sisters Rita Flannery, Lorraine Richmond, Jeannette Farren, and Marie Burgess.
Annette was born in Spencer, the seventh daughter of Delphin and Exina (Mathieu) Sourdif. She retired in 2003 from Newton Buying, Corp. Her time was filled with friends, family, reading, and her special pets.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sameh Said, the UMass Memorial CCU and VNA Care Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Annette during her illness.
The funeral will be held on Friday, Feb. 22 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Thursday, Feb. 21 from 5 to 7p.m.
