New Bedford – Lillian (Botelho) Moss, 78, of South Dartmouth, died Thursday, July 15, 2004 at Taber Street Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Gilbert E. Moss.
She was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Jesse and Lydia (Rogers) Botelho, and had resided there until moving to Dartmouth 15 years ago. Mrs. Moss enjoyed gardening, bird watching, playing cards and cross-stitching.
She is survived by a son: Randall E. Moss and his wife Meryl R. of Westport; a daughter: Betsey Ann Irlbeck and her husband Ronnie of Crestview, FL; 4 grandchildren: Joshua Costa, Kaitie Irlbeck, Jessica Moss and Christopher “C.J.” Moss; and a dear friend: Peter Johansen.
She was the sister of the late George Botelho and Eleanor Cowen.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, July 19, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
Calling hours Sunday 4–7 P.M.
Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Dartmouth.
