WORCESTER - Rhea E. (Mahaney) Martin, 93, of 35 Cliveden Street, Worcester died Wednesday, July 14th in Clark Manor Nursing Home in Worcester after a long illness.
She leaves two sons Arthur F. Jr. of Sutton and Rodney J. Martin of Worcester and four grandchildren. Her husband Arthur F. Martin St. died in 1963.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Joseph C. and Lea E. (Lajoie) Mahaney. Mrs. Martin was a supervisor for the N.E. Telephone Co. and retired in 1975. She is a founder of the St. Christopher's Parish, Member of the Guild of Out Lady of the Summit and the Retired Club of St. Christopher's. She was a memeber of the Telephone Pioneers of America and also belonged to the AARP.
Mrs. Martin donated her body to UMASS Medical Center for Biomedical Research.
