Mr. Robert W. Henry, of Woburn passed away unexpectedly on February 9th, at the Aberjona Nursing Home in Winchester. He was 74. Bob was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Sorrenti) and together they shared nearly 55 years of marriage. Born in Woburn he was the son of the late Weston R. and Florence (Davidson) Henry.
Bob was a retired truck driver and worked for many years with the Acme Trucking and Container Co. prior to his retirement. In his leisure time He enjoyed gardening, fishing, listening to country music and he also loved to cook. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and he especially enjoyed and cherished his grandchildren.
In addition to his late parents, Bob is predeceased by his daughter, the late Robin Lee Henry, and sister, the late Janet Atwood. He is survived by his children, Ann Hart of Derry, NH and her former husband John Jr., Kim Johnson and her husband Glen of Methuen, and Robert Henry of Winchester. He was the loving grandfather of John and James Hart, Kyle and Scott Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Friday, February 15th, at 7 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 5 thru 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
