Obituary

John W. “Jack” Tedder III, age 72, of Salem, NH, died Tuesday at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Roxbury, MA. He grew up in Roxbury and attended schools there and graduated from Tewksbury High School. He was a resident of Salem for the past 43 years. Jack was a senior buyer at L-3 Klein Associates in Salem, NH.

He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and sports, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Most of all, Jack loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who called him “Poppy”. He was the son of the late John and Dorothy (Johnston) Tedder. He was predeceased by his son John W. Tedder IV and his brothers Frank and Donald Tedder.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Margaret (Davey) Tedder of Salem, NH; his loving daughters, Tracey (Tedder) and her husband James Wilder of Auburn, NH and Wendy (Tedder) and her husband Bobby MacCormack of Westford, MA; grandchildren, Aliviah, Jack, BoBo and John; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 16th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.

Calling hours will be Friday, Feb. 15th from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
