Dartmouth – Claire H. (Wunschel) Ellis, 81, of Dartmouth died after a long illnesss on February 13, 2013 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth.
Mrs. Ellis was born in New Bedford a daughter of the late William and Louise M. (Sylvia) Wunschel. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet. She was employed as a seamstress by various local textile companies until her retirement.
Survivors include 3 sons: Leonard E. Ellis, Jr. and his wife, Suzanne, of N. Dartmouth, David M. Ellis and his wife, Karen, of Phoenix, AZ and Robert B. Ellis and his companion, Yvonne, of CA; a daughter: Dawn Choquette and her husband, David, of Fairhaven; 4 brothers: William Wunschel, Jr., Thomas Wunschel of FL, Robert Wunschel of Dartmouth and Donald Wunschel of Fairhaven; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
She was sister of the late Margaret Herteau and Gerald Wunschel.

Interment in Tabor Cemetery, Acushnet.
