Larry Myers Thomas, 70, passed away on February 12, 2013 at Shady Acres Convalescent Home following an extended illness. Mr. Thomas was born on October 8, 1942 in Alma, Georgia to the late Alton and Mary Myers Thomas. He was a self employed auto body technician.
Survivors include: sons: Alton (Rachel) Thomas, Douglas, GA; Dale (Amanda) Thomas, Gulf Breeze, FL; Scott (Lyn) Thomas, Springfield, GA; daughters: Robin Thomas (Brad) Bacon, Rincon, GA; Julie Thomas, Brunswick, GA; 20 grandchildren, 13 grandchildren, sisters: Wanda (Billy) Hutcheson and Diane Wilkerson; brother: Beryl Thomas; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Thomas was preceded in by a daughter: Joy Anita Thomas.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. February 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with interment following in Hall Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Sims Funeral Home from
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
