Dana J. Flesher, 63, of Ocilla, died Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Irwin County Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Frank Cemetery, Irwin County with Bro. Joey Veal officiating.
Mr. Flesher was born March 29, 1949, in Punta Gorda, Florida, to the late Sheldon Leon Flesher and Esther Nelson Flesher. Mr. Flesher graduated from Punta Gorda High School in 1967. He moved to the community in 1974 from Punta Gorda. Mr. Flesher was a sales representative for Transport Equipment Company in Albany, Georgia. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed bass fishing and hunting. He was a loving husband and Pops.
He is survived by his wife: Patsy Flesher of Ocilla; children and their spouses: Stacey & Michael Carpenter of Gastonia, North Carolina, Scott & Angela Flesher of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Steve & Tonya Flesher of Dayton, Ohio and Kim & Norman Taylor of Fitzgerald, Georgia; 10 grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gary & Patsy Flesher of Ocala, Florida, Ronald & Shellia Flesher of Fitzgerald; sister and brother-in-law: Shelley & Tom Kelso of Longwood, Florida.
The family suggests memorials be sent to The American Heart Association.
