Eleanor A. Aquilino (Rooney) age 87 passed away February 11th at the Norwood Hospital. Born and raised in Cambridge, she graduated from St. John’s High in N. Cambridge. She worked for Met Life in Cambridge for 7 years as a Clerk. She has lived in Canto since 1959 and previously lived in Newton. Beloved wife of the late Daniel. Mother of James W. of Walpole, Michael J. of Brockton, Robert D. of CT & Paul D. of Walpole. Sister of Marie R. DeLeo of Cambridge & the late Edward J. Rooney. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday morning at 10:00.
