Nickel, Steven M. age 48 of Emerson formerly of New Milford died Thursday, February 7, 2013. Beloved husband of Denise (nee) Wohlleben. Devoted father of Allison and Courtney. Loving son of Susan and Edward Nickel. Dear brother of Sharon Traina and her husband Chris and Danny Nickel and his wife Donna. His memory will also be cherished by his 8 nieces and nephews as well as his in-laws Gayle and Al Wohlleben. Steven worked for over 20 years with the Bergen County Utility Authority as a lab technician. When not listening to Elvis or taking in a Yankee game, Steve could always be found out tending to his beautiful pond. Funeral service Monday 10AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell then to St. John the Baptist RC Church, Hillsdale for an 11:30AM Mass of Christian Burial. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday 4-8PM.
