Obituary

WEBSTER – Lorraine A. (Pariseau) Remy, 84, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013, in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester surrounded by her children. Her husband of 62 years, Thomas R. Remy, died in 2009.
She leaves 3 children: Jacqueline M. Proko and her husband Steven of Holland, John P. Remy and his wife Nancy of Atkinson, NH, and James F. Remy and his fiancée Hilary Keller of Grafton; 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Alyssa, Meghan, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Michelle, Gabrielle and Nicholas Remy; a brother, James Pariseau of Santa Barbara, CA; nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Oxford, the daughter of William and Mary Jane (Delaire) Pariseau. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1946 and lived in Webster since her marriage in 1947.
Mrs. Remy was a home health aide for the VNA of Southern Worcester County for several years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and its Ladies of Saint Anne. She was a weekly adorer at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel and a member of the parish’s bereavement group.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 19, at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A calling period will be held in the church from 9:00 to 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 19. Donations in her name may be made to either Tri-Valley, Inc., 10 Mill St., Dudley, MA 01571 or to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, 17 East Main St., Webster, MA 01570. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.
