Carolyn (Cole) Yetman, age 87, passed away at the Inn at Silver Lake in Kingston on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Carolyn was the wife of the late William Earl Yetman and is survived by her daughter, Susan Wallis and her husband Mark of Plympton and her son, Richard Yetman of Baton Rouge, LA, her grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Wallis of Cooperstown, NY, Torrey Conley and her fiancé, Harry Fratus of Weymouth, Captain Nicholas Yetman, US Army in Germany, Matthew Yetman and his wife Michelle of Texas and Garrett Yetman of Baton Rouge, LA and her great grandchildren, Simon and Cole Wallis. She is the sister of Richard and Priscilla Cole of Harwich Port and the sister in law of George F. Yetman of Walpole. Carolyn also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Torrey) Cole.
Carolyn was born and lived in South Weymouth, graduated from the Newton Wellesley School of Nursing and worked for the Abington and Rockland VNA.
A Funeral will be held at the Old South Union Chapel, 25 Columbian St. S. Weymouth on Saturday, February 16 at 11 A.M. Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday from 4 to7 P.M. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
