Geronimo, Peter Michael also known as “Shorty” to his friends a resident of New Milford and raised in Emerson passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He was the beloved son of Rose Geronimo. Peter is also survived by his loving sisters Jeanne Hoskin and her husband Dennis, Lucille Costa and her husband Lee, Joanne Origoni and her husband Kevin as well as his dear brothers, Bill Geronimo and his wife Maria, and Joseph Geronimo and his wife Cathy. His memory will be cherished by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including his dear friend Kerry West. Peter was predeceased by his father Francis Geronimo. Peter was a dedicated employee of A&P Stores for 23 years. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday 11-2:30PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. A service honoring Peter’s life will begin at 2:30PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his name to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St, Hackensack, NJ 07601 are appreciated by the family.
