Obituary

WORCESTER: Judy Ann Lamonica, 54, died peacefully at home surrounded by her daughter Marcy, sister Dianne, and her long time companion Dan, on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, after a long illness.
She leaves her daughter, Marcy Lyn Lamonica of Brighton; two sisters, Dianne J. Lamonica of Scranton, PA, Ann Marie J. Arcidi and her husband Michael of Hampton, NH; a brother, Michael R. Lamonica and his wife Lydia of Auburn; four nieces, Melissa A. Belanger, Victoria M. St. Francis, Carmela R. Arcidi, Angelina M. Arcidi; and her long time companion, Dan Arpin.
Judy was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Michael R. Lamonica, Sr. and Barbara R. (Warren) Lamonica. She graduated from North High School and Fisher College. After receiving her degree she worked as an insurance broker for many years. She studied occupational therapy until leaving work due to illness. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and trips to the White Mountains. Judy had an innate ability to bond with people and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
CALLING HOURS will be from 3 to 6 P.M. on SUNDAY, FEB. 10, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 A.M. on MONDAY, FEB. 11, in ST. JOHN'S CHURCH, 40 Temple St. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
