Obituary

Odorico A. D’Eramo, age 93, a 50 year resident of Sherborn, died peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2013, at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick. He was the beloved, and first love, of Adelina (D’Agostino) D’Eramo, who passed away 14 years ago to the day, February 4, 1999. His family, friends and acquaintances may find comfort in their sorrow knowing that Rico and Adelina are together in Eternal Life. They were born in Ginestra degli Schiavoni, Provence of Benevento, Italy. They built their first home in Natick after seven years in America. They later built a new home in Sherborn where they resided and raised their children. Odorico is survived by his son, Vincent and his wife Linda of Holliston, and their children Michael and Maria; his son Robert and his wife Karen of Sherborn, and their children Adriana, Gabriella, and Giuliana; and his daughter Lidia and her husband Albert Porges of Stoughton. Rico was very proud of his family and business, which he started over 60 years ago. He was involved with the Sons of Italy Club of Natick, and was associated with Saint Theresa of Lisieux Church and their Choir. Rico was predeceased by his brother, Antonino and his wife Antonietta, and their son Emilio and daughter Flora; his brother Camillo and his wife Elvira, and their daughter Marianina; his brother Vincenzo and his wife Olga; and his sister, Romana and her husband Dante Barile. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, extended family members, cherished friends, and business acquaintances. He also leaves behind many friends from Atria-Draper in Hopedale, Emeritus in Framingham, and Mary Ann Morse in Natick. His family would like to extend sincere thanks to all of those who cared for Rico after the passing of his late wife, and also during his time at Leonard Morse Hospital. The ICU nurses, Diane, Kevin, Maria, and Tom, were loving and respectful towards Rico and his family. While in hospice care, Linda Giarla and nurse Theresa helped Rico’s soul to eternal rest. His spirit will remain with us forever. Rico’s Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 11th in Saint Theresa of Lisieux Church, 35 South Main Street (Rte. 27) Sherborn at 11:30 A.M. He will then be laid to rest beside his beloved Adelina in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on SUNDAY, 4 – 8P.M. at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Natick.
