Nellie (Andrade) Rosado, 77, of Dartmouth died Monday Febuary 4, 2013 at home. She was the widow of August Rosado.
Born in Falmouth, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mabel (Hackett) Andrade, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She is survived by six sons, Raymond Souto, Robert Souto, August Rosado, Oscar Rosado, William Rosado, and Nelson Rosado; a brother, Arnold Andrade; a sister, Barbara Gomes; two aunts, Frances Fortes and Dominga Andrade; many grandchildren, including Tiffany Farrell, Amanda Marvel, and Rebekah Britto; many great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Mabel "Annie" Souto Britton, Diana, John, Frank, Thomas, Joseph, and Albert Souto, Jr., and sister of the late Arthur Andrade, Jr., Frank "Tangie" Andrade, Chris Andrade, and Charlene Butler.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at Victory Baptist Church, 7 Park Ave., Fairhaven, with viewing at the Church from 9-10 AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. For online condolence book, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
