Jean E. (Pierce) Thurston age 75 of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday at her home.
She was born in Waltham, MA. She was a resident of Londonderry for the past 3 months, formerly of Ruskin, FL and was a longtime Salem, NH resident.
Jean was retired form the IRS in Andover, MA. She was a former Sunday school teacher. She was an avid bowler and was a former president of the Women’s Tewksbury Bowling league. She loved nature and was an avid gardener.
She was predeceased by her son Charles W. Thurston and a step son James Bursey.
She is survived by her husband Robert H. Bursey of Londonderry, NH
Children: William Thurston of Durham, NC, Jeanne & her husband Kenneth Lane of Salem, NH, Lorry Thurston of Salem, NH, Amy & her husband Richard Parisi of Chester, NH.
Step Children: Stephen Bursey of Texas, Cheryl Morrisette of Goffstown, NH, & Pamela Eddy of Maine.
Brother: Daniel Pierce of Waltham, MA
Sisters: Dell DeFrancisco of Shrewsbury, MA and Marcia Kopp of Marlboro, MA
18 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews
Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 6th from 4-6 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
