Theresa F. (Soucy) Gingras, 86, of Derry, NH, died Saturday February 2, 2013 in Aurora Senior Living of Derry. She was born in Lawrence, MA on June 8, 1926, a daughter of the late Peter and Angelina (Desrosier) Soucy. Mrs. Gingras had been a resident of Derry for the past 38 years, formerly living in Lawrence, MA.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Rene Gingras of Derry; two daughters, Christine and her husband Mark Beaudoin of Merrimack MA, and Celeste and her husband Mert Hall of Barrington, NH; four sons, Ronald and his wife Susan Gingras of Windham, NH, Raymond and his wife Cindy Gingras of Methuen, MA, Richard and his wife Debra Gingras of Quinton, VA, and Roger and his wife Barbara Gingras of Salem, NH; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and one brother, Roland and his wife Yvonne Soucy of Methuen; one sister, Vivian and her husband Leo Gingras of Salem, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Soucy.
Following cremation, a graveside service was held on Thursday, February 7th at 12:00pm in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry handled the arrangements.
