Josephine "Tracy" Lesho, 86, of Olyphant, died Friday morning at Green Ridge Health Care Center. She was the widow of William J. Lesho, who died in 1986.
Born in Eynon, daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Titanaki Tracewski, she was a 1945 graduate of Archbald High School and worked for many years at Sugerman's department store. Josephine was a member of Holy Ghost Church, now Holy Cross Parish, and its Confraternity of Christian Women. She also was a member of Mid-Valley Hospital Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
Josephine was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She loved to travel, visiting Poland, Italy and Israel. She especially enjoyed many trips to New York City.
The family would like to thank the staff of Green Ridge Health Care Center for all its great care and compassion.
Surviving are two sons, William, Olyphant, and Thomas, New York City; a brother, Richard Tracewski and wife, Dolores, Peckville; several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Henrietta Krushinsky, and two brothers, Henry and Edward.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
