North Augusta, SC---Mrs. Anna Hoover, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm tomorrow Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in the Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Reverend Jim McCullough officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
She graduated from Tubman High School and then attended Business College. She was employed by Capers Paint and Glass Co. for over 38 years. She was a current member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church and Turner Fellowship Sunday School class.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Hoover.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Crain and her husband, Tom, granddaughter, Courtney Hollingsworth and husband, Aric and great-grandchildren, Taylor and Grayson Hollingsworth, sisters, Frances Hixon and husband Jack and Bernice Hughes, nieces Carolyn Baggott and husband Jim, Jean Beall, Mary Havron, Cindy Moorby and husband Paul, and Barbara Swilley and husband David, nephew Jack Hixon, Jr. and wife Debbie and their children.
Pallbearers will be Aric Hollingsworth, Ralph Robinson, Jack Hixon, Jr., Scott Baggot, Barry Baggot, and Chris Nixon.
The family will receive friends this evening Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
