Charles M. “Moe” Lamarche, Sr., a native of Worcester passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of February 3rd, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born 74 years ago on December 28th, 1938. He leaves his children, Mike, Steve, Chuck and Jenny; a sister, Sue (Lamarche) Williams; his grandchildren, Daxton, Ryder, Keon, Kealyn and Jamie; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Rene and Robert Lamarche and his former wife, Pauline J. (McKeon) Lamarche.
He was the son of the late Roger and Lucielle Lamarche. Moe was a veteran of the United States Marines. He was well cared for by the staff at Autumn Village Nursing Home. The family is indebted by the great care that his nurses Roya, Marion, Carrie-Ann, Steve and the entire staff gave to him over the years. Without them he would not have found peace before his transition to Jesus’ loving arms.
Family and friends are invited to Moe’s calling hours on Wednesday, February 6th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036.
