Albert Joseph "Joe" Kute, Jr. 60 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 following a long battle with cancer.
He was an owner/partner in Kute's Liquors in Jeffersontown for 38 years.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Alma Kute and his brother , Jim.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ann; daughter Dr. Karen Kute Nation (Dr. Mark Nation) and two granddaughters, Shelby Ann and Lily Jo; sisters Kathy Burnett and Lee Frederick.
Joe was a member of the G.I. Joe Post #244 in Jeffersontown and was a former member of Persimmon Ridge Golf Course.
There will be a celebration of life at Owen Funeral Home in Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. on Monday February 4, 2013 from 2-8 pm.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
