Teresa J. Anderson, 85, of Lawrence, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 31, 2013. She was the wife of the late Russell W. Anderson.
Born on December 27, 1927 in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Tekla (Baran) Michalski. Teresa was educated in the Methuen school system and graduated from the Edward F. Searles High School in 1945. She worked as a cosmetician for 23 ½ years and in her free time, she loved spending time with her family.
Teresa will be deeply missed by her 3 children, William Anderson, and his wife, Pauline, of Methuen, Joan LaCroix, and her husband, Arthur, of Windham, NH, and James Anderson, and his wife, Yvette, of Seabrook, NH; 8 grandchildren, Heidi Chase, and her husband, Arthur, Heather Thompson, and her husband, David, Mark Anderson, and his wife, Christen, Laurie Martinchick, and her husband, Anthony, Karen Davis, and her husband, Justin, Jason LaCroix, and his wife, Amy, Keith Anderson, and his wife, Nichole, and Danielle Anderson; 9 great grandchildren, Colby, Cameron, Travis, Emelia, Jacob, Gabriella, Avery, Addison, and Drew; and several loving and devoted nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Teresa’s life by gathering for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence on Monday, February 4th at 9 AM. Calling hours will take place on Sunday from 1-5 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
