David A. Fontaine, 66, of North Sturbridge Rd., passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 in his home. He leaves his wife of 27 years, Judith A. (Kane) Fontaine, 4 surviving daughters; Kristen A. wife of Kevin Larocque of Millbury, Korrine L. Fontaine-Hadad wife of Alan Hadad, Jr. of Sutton, Kate L. Stevens and her fiancé Gary Lavallee of Uxbridge and Kara T. White and her husband Matthew of Washington, D.C., 2 sisters; Nancy wife of Ernest Bonin of Sebastian, FLA., and Valerie Fontaine and her Life Partner Janet Dunwoodie of Middleboro, 10 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
David was predeceased by a daughter; Kerry Fontaine who died August 23, 2012. He was born in Haverhill, son of Hector and Alice (Fiset) Fontaine. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. David was a truck driver for many years and was an independent newspaper distributor. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and fixing things around the house, building decks, shed, and loved cooking.
There are No Calling Hours. Funeral Services will be Private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the donors’ choice.
The Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd., is assisting the family with arrangements.
