Margaret M. Aries, of Kingston, and formerly of Weymouth passed away on January 29, 2013. She was 91 years old. Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Aries. Loving mother of Virginia and Norman Sullivan of NH, Joanne and Stephen McDonald of Kingston, Diane Guerard of Weymouth, Patricia Aries and Tom Walsh of Kingston, Joseph Michael Aries of Kingston, and Linda Aries of Franklin. Cherished grandmother of 12, and great grandmother of 14. Margaret was also a loving sister, aunt, and friend.
Mom would move the earth, the sun, and the sky for her most precious possesions - her family. Nana loved to play Rummikub with her grandchildren. Peg loved to dance, sing, laugh, and share her many adventures. Her imp-like way brought humor to every situation. No matter what age, she was fun to be around. Mom's door was always open to everyone, she had a heart of gold.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 31st from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family church in Duxbury on Friday, February 1st at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
