Florimundo T. Raposo, age 66 of Fall River passed away January 28, 2013. He was the Husband of Cremilde (Viegas) Raposo. Born in Lagoa, São Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late Antonio T. and Teresa (Cabral) Raposo. Prior to retiring, Mr. Raposo was a laborer in the construction industry, and later he worked at Kleer-Vue Mfg. He was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church and a member of the Santo Christo Club.
In addition to his wife of Fall River, he is survived by his children: Paul J. Raposo of Fall River, Maria G. Lane of Framingham, and Patricia Raposo of Dartmouth; siblings: Marcelino Raposo & Fernanda Almeida both of Fall River, Alda Raposo of Canada, & Dulinda Coulho of Portugal; grandchildren: Zachary Lane, Ayden Raposo, & Olivia Lane; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joao & Bernardo Raposo.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC.. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River FRIDAY at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours THURSDAY 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations on Mr. Raposo’s memory to the family.
