Obituary

WORCESTER - Ms. Adele A. Abdelnour, 97, passed away at Radius Health Care Center.

Adele is survived by her nephews, William Abdelnour and his wife Janice of Worcester, and Reverend Ernest Abdelnour and his wife Susan of Salem, N.H.; seven great nephews, and three great nieces.

Adele was born May 5, 1915 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Ernest and Saada(Wazen) Abdelnour.

She was pre-deceased by her brothers, William J. Abedelnour, Albert E. “Ally” Abdelnour, a niece, Deanna Abraham, and a nephew, Richard Abdelnour.

A lifelong resident, Adele was educated through the Worcester schools and was a graduate of Commerce High School. She worked in the leather manufacturing industry at Greton and Knight company for many years. Her last twenty-nine years she worked as a clerk at the Worcester Parks and Recreation Department.

Adele was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Church of Worcester.

Visiting hours will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 256 Hamilton Street, Worcester, Ma 01604. on Friday, February 1st from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
