Obituary

Williamson, William E. of Kingston, formerly of Marshfield, entered into his new life with Christ on January 26, 2013 at Skilled Care Center at Wingate at the age of 91, just six weeks after his wife of 66 years. Beloved husband of the late Harriet Williamson. Loving father of Suzanne Bunker and her husband Rick of Pembroke, Stephen Williamson and his partner Patrick Bryne of Jamaica Plain, Nancy Williamson and her partner Paula Trinque of Pembroke and the late William P. Williamson. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Jeremy and Elizabeth Copus, all of Texas. Son of the late William F. and Marie F. Williamson. Dear brother of the late Weldon (Danno) and Edith Williamson. William was born and raised in Quincy. He was a graduate of North Quincy High School and Lincoln Technical Institute. William worked as an estimator for Ryan Iron Co. in Canton before retiring in 1987. After his retirement he worked at John Foster Lumber where he was known as “Uncle Bull”. William was a devoted husband and father. He always put his family and other people before anything else. William was known for having strong values and was dedicated to God and to the things that were important to him. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and gardening. William was a wonderful teacher. He would teach anyone who wanted to know how to drive.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 77 Rockland St. Rte. 139 in Hanover on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.
