(Polly) and her husband, Timothy Meckel, of Wellesley; Betsy R. and her husband, Richard Powers, of Wellesley; Alicia R. and her husband, James, of Falmouth and Boulder, Colorado; Jeanne S. Reynolds of Hingham; Charles V. III and his wife, Andrea, of Edmond, OK. Loving grandfather of Isabel Ruane; Christopher, Stephanie and Andrew Meckel; Matthew, Spencer and Elizabeth Powers; Jean-Marie, Charlotte and Lily McGrath; Caroline, Charlie and Jack Reynolds. Also survived by his brother, William P. Reynolds of Westwood and his sister, Margaret R. Charles of Cohasset. A well-loved and inspring professor for 33 years at Boston State College, and later, Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
