Ruth E. Haak, 52, of Derry, NH died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at her home following a period of declining health. She was born on June 12, 1960 in Boston, MA a daughter of Constance (Cushman) Anderson. Ruth was a resident of Derry for the last 14 years, formerly living in N. Reading, MA. She was employed as a registered nurse for many years. Ruth loved the beach and spending time in the sun.
In addition to her mother of Derry, she is also survived by two daughters, Charlayne McClard of Merrimack, NH and Sarah Freedman of Ft. Mohave, AZ, five siblings, Carl Haak of Somerville, MA, Karen Haak of Manchester, Eric Haak of Derry, Sandy Cummings and Constance Cummings both of Woburn, MA, one niece, Lauren Lynch, four nephews, Brandon Lynch, Christopher Haak, Bryan Haak and Kyle Oldakowski.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Tuesday January 29, 2013 from 4-7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry with a memorial service to begin at 7:00pm.
