Obituary

Mrs. Mary Eustella (Connearney) Kelley, a long time resident of Medford, formerly of Waltham, and beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Kelley, Sr., died at St. Patrick Manor Nursing Center in Framingham on Thursday, January 24, 2013. She was 90 years old.
Born in Newton, Massachusetts, on March 25, 1922, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Anne (Kiley) Connearney. Mrs. Kelley was a graduate of St. Charles High School in Waltham, class of 1939. She had been employed as a secretary for her uncle's plumbing company for many years. Mary finished her career as Administrative Assistant at Stone & Webster in Boston. In her spare time, Mary loved skiing, was an avid cake decorator, and was active in the Girl Scouts, Medford Troop 121. She was also an active member of St. James Church in Medford for many years. She had been a member of the Women's Guild at St. James. Above all, Mary was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She will be missed by her loving daughter and son-in-law; Stephanie A. and her husband Richard J. Parker of Chestnut Hill, and son and daughter-in-law; Thomas W. and his wife Judy J. Kelley of Westford, grandchildren; Bradford and his wife Ann Parker, Melissa and her husband Richard Merullo, and Kristina Kelley, sister; Anne McGrath of Cotuit and and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the the late John J. and William J. Connearney, and Gertrude Rose.
Her funeral was held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford at 10:30 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held on Monday, January 28, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
