LYONS, Delilah “Dee”, 77, of Louisville, passed away January 24, 2013.
Dee graduated from the University of Louisville with a Masters in Education and had a long career in education, having worked at the University of Louisville, Jefferson Community College and Jefferson County Vocational School systems. Dee loved watching UofL Cardinal Basketball.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Mae Lyons; brothers, Jack Lyons and his wife, Frances, Jim Lyons and sister, Edna Corson and her husband, David.
Dee is survived by her sister-in-law, Lynn Lyons; and nieces and nephews, Jack Lyons, Beverly Rightmire, Kathy Burgard, Mike Lyons, Kristy Brinkhaus, Julie Corson and David Corson.
Her service will be graveside 11am Tuesday at Resthaven Cemetery, 4400 Bardstown Road. Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown entrusted with arrangements.
