Christine Reid, of Santa Cruz, NM formerly of Plymouth, died suddenly on January 11, at the age of 52. She is survived by her daughter Melanie Reid of Santa Fe, NM and was the sister of Diane Wheeler of Plymouth, Beatrice LaRaia of Fall River, Dorothy Ferguson of Plymouth, Frank Reid of MD; Lawrence Reid of TX; Joseph Reid of NV and Sean Reid of CT. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Reid, James Reid, Brian Reid and Tommy Reid.
Christine was born in Boston, daughter of the late James and Beatrice (Theriault). She moved to New Mexico 12 years ago from Massachusetts and was a cosmetology instructor in both states. Christine enjoyed gardening, arts & crafts especially wood sculpting and drawing. She was very active in her church, formerly St. Theresa’s in West Roxbury.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday January 28, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday January 29, at 10:00 AM at St. Bonaventure’s Church in Plymouth. Burial will be private
