Elizabeth,” Betty”, Leocopoulos, age 89, passed away on January 24, 2013, at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on January 7, 1924 in Springfield. She was a daughter of the late John and Anna Simon. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. She worked as an executive secretary at Westinghouse, as a teller at both SIS and Peoples Banks. She retired after working for Brooks Insurance Agency in Granby, MA. She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Michael Leocopoulos, who passed away in 2003. She leaves three children; Suzanne Leocopoulos and her husband Richard Rerra of Stamford, CT; JoAnn Cibelli of Springfield, MA; and Stephen Leocopoulos of Granby, MA. In addition, she will be missed by one brother, John Simon of Woburn, MA and one sister, Marion Teel of South Hadley, MA. Betty loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, Samantha and Carly Cibelli, and Gabrielle Rerra. She belonged to Sts Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Chicopee Ma. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 10:00 A.M at the Greek Orthodox Church of St Luke in East Longmeadow, MA. A visitation will be held at the church on the morning of the funeral from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Fairview Cemetery, Chicopee, MA.
