Obituary

Joseph J. Tello of Medford passed away on Saturday July 10, 2004 at his home in Medford.

Born in Boston, Joseph was a longtime resident of Medford. He was a loving and caring son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.

Joseph was a dedicated carpenter for the local 218 for many years. He loved music and golfing with his brother James. His love for his family went unparalleled. Joseph was a longtime member and former commander of the Riverside Yacht Club. During the Korean Conflict, Joseph proudly served our country as a Private in the United States Army.

Joseph was the beloved husband of Maria (Zucco) Tello. He was the devoted father of James and Donna Tello, Paul Tello and his wife Kristen, Christopher Tello and his wife Pamela Jenks, Joseph Tello and his wife Linda. Joseph was the cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and the dear brother of James Tello and his wife Dolores of Mashpee. He was the brother in law of Elizabeth and Robert LaBella, Sandra and Frank Zucco and the uncle of James, Robert and David Tello.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
