Larry Humerickhouse, 73, of Anderson died January 22, 2013 at St. Vincent's Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born December 24, 1939 in Anderson, IN to John and Katherine (Werking) Humerickhouse.
He served in the US Army.
He worked as a Utility man Delco Remy for 32 years before retiring in 1992.
He was a member of VFW Post 266, American Legion Post 127; UAW Local 662; and a former Lions Club member in Anderson.
Survivors include his very loving companion, Barbara Hollenback of Anderson; 6 children, Lisa (Brian) Hutchison; Larry Gene Humerickhouse; John Lee Humerickhouse; James Lacey Humerickhouse; Bob (Julie) Hollenback; all of Anderson; Teresa (Mark) Sheldon of Denver, CO; 6 siblings, Alvin "Bud" (Irma) Humerickhouse; Terry Lee (Linda) Humerickhouse; Jim Humerickhouse all of Anderson; Sue Craig of Elwood; Imogene Poole of Anderson and Louise Hudson of Topeka, Kansas; grandchildren, Larry Joe Brown, John C. Humerickhouse, Jessica Humerickhouse, Dustin Rehmel (fiancée Autumn Jones); Megan Rehmel (fiancé Cliff Hinton); Morgan Hutchison; Matt Hollenback; Chris Hollenback (fiancée Kat Pursley); and Lacresha Hollenback; great grandchildren, Chloe, Bridyn, Declynn and one due in May; several nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Myram "Terri" (Terrill) Humerickhouse in 2001; 3 sisters Alice Gold, Lora Kay Furney and Anna Mae Gustin.
Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in East Maplewood Cemetery Mausoleum with military rites conducted by the VFW Post 266 honor guard.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
