Mary “Mamie Pepper” (Leite) Gregorio, age 90 passed away January 22, 2013. She was the wife of the late Alfred R. Gregorio of Fall River and daughter of the late John S. and Maria (Cordeiro) Leite, sister of the late Joseph Leite and John Leite Jr.
Mary worked at the Firestone Rubber Co. during WWII making helmets and assembling gas masks and retired from Whittenton Mfg. Co., in 1984.
She is survived by 1 daughter Nancy M. Gregorio, 1 grandson Aaron M. Costa, 1 granddaughter Shelley Correia and 1 great great grandson Brandon Costa.
She enjoyed helping people in need. She was an eternal optimist and had a generous and giving soul. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River SATURDAY with calling hours from 8:00-9:30 A.M followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saints Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church at 10:00 A.M.
