Harvey, John L. “Larry”, 86 of Brewster formerly of Holbrook, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on January 20th. The beloved husband of the late Leonore (Panizzi) and Joan (Tracey-Maloney) , he is survived by his daughters Janice Goslin and her husband Ralph and Christine Centorino and her husband Joseph both of Marshfield. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren; Peter Goslin and his girlfriend Kathleen Mori of Plymouth, Jill Eichler and her husband Garth of CO; Dominic Centorino and his fiancée Jacquelyn Clancy of Marshfield, Mark Centorino and his wife Jen of Marshfield, Jacob Harvey-Murphy and his wife Windy of FL; and Derek Harvey-Murphy of Sandwich. He also leaves his great grandchildren Lilly and Aidan Murphy and Gabe Eichler. He was the father of the late David L. Harvey and brother of the late M. Rita Harvey.
Larry leaves many dear friends and neighbors including the "ROMEOS", his Alfresco breakfast buddies with a special place in his heart for Aira and Dean.
Mr. Harvey was born in Boston and served in the U.S Navy on the USS Fall River during WWII. He was a District Sales Manager for Lever Brothers for 25 years. He was very active in the Brewster community volunteering at the Brewster Council on Aging, the Friends of the Brewster Elders, St. Vincent de Paul food pantry and was a driver for Meals on Wheels. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Cape catholic church where he also served as a Eucharistic minister.
There are no visiting hours. A Mass at Our Lady of the Cape will be held at a later date. Burial will be private. Arrangements made by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet.
