George J. Tucker, 59, of Hudson, died unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, Jan. 21st. He is survived by his loving parents, Alvin and Florida (Poirier) Tucker of Clinton.
George was born in Marlboro and raised in Hudson where he resided for most of his life. He was a 1971 graduate of the Marlboro Vocational High School and was employed as a glazier with the Country Glass Company of Hudson for the past 10 plus years. George enjoyed fishing in his spare time, was an avid pool player and member of the American Poolplayers Association (APA). He was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Richard Tucker of Hudson, Lorraine (Tucker) Fox and her husband James of Roseburg, OR, Michael Tucker and his wife Julie of Hubbardston, Linda (Tucker) Rameli and her husband Anthony of Madison, NH and Paul Tucker and his wife Carol of Hudson. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews and close friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 26th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, Jan. 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
