Riccardo Ferrelli, 91 of Somerville, died Thursday after a brief illness in the Kindred Hospital, Tampa, Florida.
Born in Italy, he lived the past 52 years in Somerville and was the son of the late Lucia (Forcucci) and Francesco Ferrelli.
Riccardo was a member of the Boston Plasterer’s and Cement Masons’ Local 534 as a Cement Mason for 25 years and retired in 1986.
Beloved husband of the late Dora (Sandonato) Ferrelli. Devoted father of Maria Giatrelis and her husband Todd of Belmont, Richard Ferrelli and his wife Yvonne of Tampa, FL. Loving grandfather of Julia and Mia Giatrelis, Richie, Henry and John Ferrelli. Brother of the late Ferdinando Ferrelli and Angela DiRamio.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
