Thomas E. "Tommy" Woods, 67, passed away Sunday January 20, 2013 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was born in Louisville to Joseph A. & Hester (Smith) Woods.
He was a retired Cartographer for the Census Bureau, with 27 years service and a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church.
"Tommy" was an avid Bingo player, Nascar and sports fan.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary Frances "Francie" (Zierer) Woods; his Sons: Brian S. Woods (Paula), Anthony "Tony" Woods (Kelley); 3 Grandchildren; 5 Brothers: Leo, Paul (Jean), Donald (Joyce), Kenny, and David Woods (Lennis); 6 Sisters: Ann Duke, Judy Farese, Martha Murphy (Mike), Barbara Devine (Mike), Linda Vertrees, and Wanda Ice (Mikal).
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Wednesday 2 - 8 PM
