Worcester- Jean B. (Samko) Kontowtt, formerly of 65 Eagle Rd., died Monday, July 5, in Clark Manor Nursing Home.
Her husband, Edward B. Kontowtt, died in 1979. She leaves a son, Edward W. Kontowtt of Belchertown; a brother, William C. Samko of Worcester; nephews and nieces. Two sisters, Veronica C. Hagan and Josephine E. Samko, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Konstanty and Antonina (Szycik) Samko and lived here all her life. She graduated from Becker Junior College. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 12, in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are private.
