Louis C. Ramsey, 84, of Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday January 19, 2013 at his home. He was born in Berlin on August 8, 1928 and was the last surviving member of the 10 children of the late Joseph and Rosa (LeBrun) Ramsey. Louis had been employed by Brown Company and James River Corp. for 47 ½ years, retiring as a millwright. He was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, The Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree.
The family includes 3 sons Guy Ramsey of Gorham, NH, Mark Ramsey of Old Orchard Beach, ME and Gary Ramsey of Berlin, NH; 1 daughter Dyan Ramsey of Weare, NH; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Claire T. (Desgroseilliers) Ramsey in 2005 and 9 siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
