Gallagher of Newton and Elizabeth G. Hines and her husband Christopher of Boston. Brother of Jack J. Gallagher of San Antonio, TX, Margaret M. Callanan of Dennis, Suzanne M. Gallagher of Bourne, Thomas J. Gallagher of Carlsbad, CA, Eileen M. McCann of Gainesville, FL, Michael J. Gallagher of Holliston, Mary B. Gallagher of Windsor, CT and the late James J. Gallagher.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Hugh was a retired Guidance Counselor at Needham High School. Graduate of Stonehill College class of 1966 and Suffolk University class of 1971.
Visiting hours in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. NEEDHAM, Thursday, January 24 from 4:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Mass in The Paulist Center, 5 Park St. Boston, Friday, January 25 at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Needham Cemetery.
