Mrs. Josephine S. (Kulikowski) Ferrara, a resident of Clearwater, Florida and formerly of Medford, died on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She was 90 years old.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on July 11, 1922, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Kulikowski. Josephine was employed by Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford, in Central Supply for many years. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother, always putting the needs of her family before her own.
She will be very sorely missed by her loving son; Joseph A. Ferrara and his girlfriend; Ellen Hess, both of Clearwater, Florida, grandchildren; Jeanne, James, Christine and Carol, five great-grandchildren and several nieces, one nephew and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her funeral was held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Visiting hours were held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
