Pearl A. Kenney, 94, of Manchester, passed away on January 17, 2013 at the Concord Hospital in Concord, NH.
She was born in Concord, on September 6, 1918, the daughter of Edward and Annie (Fournier) York. Pearl was a graduate of Penacook High School and worked for several years as a telephone operator with the New England Telephone Company. In 1942, she married her husband, David T. Kenney, and took great pride in raising their family together, in Manchester. She later moved to Concord and was a resident of The Birches Assisted Community.
Pearl is survived by three sons, David Kenney, Jr., (and wife Sarah), of Oregon, Michael Kenney of Virginia and James Kenney of Manchester; three grandchildren, David Kenney, (and wife Laura), of Washington, Brian Donnelly, (and wife Jill), of Oregon, and Matthew Kenney, of Virginia; five great grandchildren, Faye & Aiden Donnelly, Melissa & Sean Kenney and Ethan Kenney; a sister, Carolyn Fitz, of New Mexico; and three brothers, William York, of Texas, Rudolf York, of Vermont and Carl York, of Virginia. She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, David Kenney; her son, Mark Kenney; her grandson, Ethan Kenney; and her sister, Virginia Rushlow.
