Middleboro – Rev. William R. Turner, 76, of E. Freetown passed away January 17, 2013 at the Golden Living Center – Oak Hill. He was the husband of Alexina Q. (Forest) Turner.
Rev. Turner was born in Lawrence, Ma, son of the late Richard and Gladys M. (Shaw) Turner. He was a reverend for 43 years, serving lastly at the Primitive Methodist Greystone Church, North Providence, RI. He was also employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 21 years as a supervisor for the Paul A. Dever School, Taunton. He was a member of the Primitive Methodist Conference and Quittacus Lodge A.F. & A.M., New Bedford. He enjoyed reading, collected hand tools and was a dog lover.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by a daughter: Susan T. Turner; a son: William R. Turner; a brother: Richard Turner; and several nieces & nephews.
He was brother of the late Frances Webb.

Interment in Chace Cemetery, E. Freetown.
