Patricia A. “Patty” Walsh Moneghan, of West Bridgewater, died peacefully January 16, 2013. She was the wife of the late John M. Walsh. A lifelong resident of West Bridgewater, Patty was the daughter of the late Lawrence T. “Monty” and Katherine E. (Mackinaw) Moneghan. Patty had many different careers in her life including Clothing Buyer of leather products, Welder in the Quincy Shipyards and a UPS Truck Driver. At only 5’2” and not much more than 100 lbs, she used her Irish spunk to push her way to the top. A short period at the family business, Monty’s Cycle Shop, the Harley Davidson Dealer in West Bridgewater, completed her career.
Patty is survived by her sisters Lauren A. Moneghan and Kathleen A. Moneghan both of West Bridgewater, a brother Dennis M. Moneghan of Brockton, her aunt Gertrude Horsley, and many cousins and loving friends. Patty was the sister of the late Dermot Moneghan.
A Graveside Service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater, Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11am. Visiting Hours are omitted.
