Lorraine G. Milbury, 77, of Dale Rd., Sandwich, NH died June 27, 2004 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester following a brief illness. She was born on June 24, 1927 in Sandwich, NH the daughter of the late Herman and Gertrude (Martin) Tilton. She complete her nurse’s training in Laconia, NH. She then moved to Concord, NH where she worked as a registered nurse at Concord Hospital for over 30 years. After retirement, she returned to Center Sandwich, NH where she enjoyed spending time with her extended family and gardening.
She is survived by three sons, Paul E. Milbury, Jr., of Ipswich, MA, Martin R. Milbury of Derry, NH, William F. Milbury of Sandwich, NH, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Milbury and her brother, Howard Tilton.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of shared remembrance and celebration of her life on Sunday July 18th from 1 - 3pm at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Wilbur Cook, Diamond Ledge Rd., Center Sandwich, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Dr., Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110. Private burial will be in Elm Hill Cemetery, Sandwich, NH at a later date.
